Is there a minimum gap I need to leave between Reiki levels?

No. There is no advertised gap and no fixed calendar. Classes are arranged around you, so how much time you leave between one level and the next, to practise and settle in, is your decision to make with Vanessa, not a rule set in advance.

Can I complete the whole training online instead of in Bali?

Yes. Every level, Level 1 through to Master Teacher, is taught live online as well as in person in Canggu, at the same price of EUR 488 a level. It is a real class in real time, never a recording or an automated attunement.

What do I actually receive at each level?

Each level includes the manual for that level, the live attunement itself, and Vanessa's support afterward while you settle into using what you have learned. That is the same whether you trained with her in person in Canggu or live online, since both are taught the same way.

How long does it take to become a Reiki Master?

There is no fixed length of time, because Reiki training here does not run on a course calendar. Whether you reach Master Teacher in a year or spread it across several is worked out between you and Vanessa, not decided for you in advance. Some people move through the levels close together. Others leave a gap of many months so that each one has time to settle before the next begins. Both are normal here.

This tends to suit people who already have a career and a full life behind them, and who are treating this as a serious next chapter rather than something to fit around a holiday. It suits someone who wants a level to actually settle, in daily life and in a few sessions of their own practice, before adding the next one, rather than a stack of certificates collected on a single long weekend.

Vanessa's own path

Vanessa trained as a Reiki practitioner in Aachen, Germany, in 2006. Over the years that followed she trained as a Meditation Teacher in 2008, as a Naturopath for Psychotherapy and Life Coach in 2009, and completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2015, before reaching Reiki Master Teacher in 2019 at the Asian Healing Arts Center in Chiang Mai and with Vonny Stella in Ubud. None of that is a required route for a student, and nobody training with her now needs anything like thirteen years. It is simply what her own path looked like: training added in when it made sense, alongside a working life and a growing family, rather than rushed through to hit a deadline.

Studying in Canggu or online

Both formats cost the same and carry the same content: the manual, the live attunement, and support once the class ends. In Canggu, training happens in person, in the same small groups, in the place she actually practises. Live online, you get the same class in real time, with the same attention, not a video to work through alone at your own pace. Neither route is the lesser one, which suits you is mostly about where you live and how you learn best.
